Elected officials are responsive to the people and organizations in their Districts. They will do whatever they reasonably can to
provide assistance to their constituents, whether the constituent is a city, county, business, or a coalition of private citizens.
Many times, however, a major problem for the official is that he often does not know what his constituents want because they have
not communicated their needs to him/her.
Capitol Link assists its clients in building strong, working relationships between them and their elected officials.
We will assist in arranging meetings for the client and their elected officials so that they may build a professional understanding
of the client’s needs and priorities. The client will be able to outline the different projects with which they need assistance and
the officials will have an opportunity familiarize themselves with specific desires of their constituents that they can then act upon.
Our goal in this is to assist the elected officials in being of the greatest help possible to their constituents.
MEETINGS AND EVENT PLANNING
Capitol Link, Inc. will take the necessary steps to arrange meetings that will put our clients face to face with the people they need
to see and who have the power to get the job done. Capitol Link works at maintaining a strong presence on Capitol Hill and in the Federal
Agencies in order to fulfill this most necessary service.
There may be times when a client wants to organize an event (i.e. luncheon, presentation, ground-breaking ceremony, etc…).
The purpose of this event may be to introduce a new project to its elected officials, or celebrate the successful funding or completion
of an existing project.
Capitol Link assists the client in developing invitation lists, a place and a time for the event, the schedule of activities,
and even design the invitations. We will then help organize the details of the event, from the reservation of the space, to catering, to
drafting and finalizing the remarks and agenda. Finally, we will work to insure that elected officials and Agency Representatives are able
to attend.
